- Company Trivia — admins publish themed trivia games with timed rounds; everyone on the team can play each round once for a leaderboard placement and (when configured) a Drops reward. Look for the Company Trivia card on your Team Hub when a round is live.
More games and lightweight icebreaker formats are on the way.
What's Planned
In addition to Company Trivia, future Team Games will include:
- Icebreaker Prompts — rotating questions that help team members learn something new about each other.
- Team Mini-Games — light competitive and collaborative games playable directly from the Team Hub.
- Engagement Rewards — Drops earned for participating, keeping the experience tied to your team's recognition culture.
Icebreakers You Can Run Today
While more game formats are in development, you can already use the tools below to keep your team engaged:
- Polls — Run quick, fun votes to spark conversation (e.g., "Pizza or tacos for the next team lunch?").
- Reflections — Use daily reflection prompts as a lightweight icebreaker to start team meetings.
- Team Chat — Start an informal group chat thread or use your team's chat rooms for casual conversation.
- Announcements — Post a fun question or challenge as an announcement and use the Comments feature to collect responses.
If you have ideas for games or icebreakers you'd love to see, reach out to your Give River account team.
