Would You Rather
Would You Rather is a light, opinion-based team game in Give River. Instead of testing what you know, it asks what you prefer — "Would you rather work a 4-day week or work from anywhere?" There are no wrong answers: you pick the option you like, and the fun is seeing how the rest of your team voted.

How It Works
- Your host opens a round with one or more Would You Rather prompts, each with two or more options.
- You pick the option you prefer and submit — that's it. Because it's an opinion game, no answer is "correct."
- When the round closes, everyone sees a vote breakdown — the share of the team that chose each option.
- If your team has rewards set up for the game, everyone who plays earns Drops just for taking part. It rewards participation, not being "right."
Where You'll Play
Would You Rather runs the same way as trivia:
- Inside a video event — when a host runs it live during a group video call, the prompt appears for everyone at once with a countdown, and results reveal in the room when the host closes the round.
- From the Team Games area — if your admin runs it outside of a call, you'll find it alongside your other team games with a Play Now button while a round is open.
Playing a Round
- Open the round (tap Play Now, or it appears automatically during a live video event).
- Read the prompt and tap the option you prefer. You can change your pick until you move on or submit.
- Submit before the timer runs out. If the timer ends first, your current pick is sent automatically.
- When the host closes the round, the results show how the whole team voted, plus any Drops you earned for playing.
Rules and Limits
- You play each round once. Your pick is locked in after you submit.
- Rounds are open only while your host keeps them open. Miss it and you'll catch the next one.
- Because there's no right answer, your Drops (if configured) come from participating, not from matching anyone.
Tips
- Answer honestly — the whole point is an authentic snapshot of the team, not guessing a "right" choice.
- Watch the reveal. The vote split is often the best conversation starter of the whole call.
- Be quick but relaxed. The timer is shared across the prompt set; pick what feels right and move on.
