Predict the Coworker

Predict the Coworker is a "read the room" team game in Give River. Each prompt asks something like "Who's most likely to reply to email at midnight?" and lists a few teammates as the options. The twist: you don't pick who you think — you try to pick who the group will pick. Match the crowd's most-popular answer and you earn Drops.

How It Works

  • Your host opens a round with one or more prompts. Each prompt lists coworkers as the answer options.
  • You choose the teammate you think most of the team will pick.
  • When the round closes, Give River counts every vote and the most-picked person becomes the "answer." Anyone who chose that person earns Drops (if your team has rewards configured); the reveal also shows the full vote breakdown.
  • It rewards reading the room, not being an insider — the crowd decides the answer, together.

Where You'll Play

Just like the other team games:

  • Inside a video event — a host runs it live during a group call; the prompt appears for everyone with a countdown, and the group's pick is revealed when the round closes.
  • From the Team Games area — a Play Now button appears while a round is open.

Playing a Round

  1. Open the round (Play Now, or it appears during a live video event).
  2. Read the prompt and tap the teammate you think the group will choose. You can change your pick until you submit.
  3. Submit before the timer ends (your current pick is sent automatically if time runs out).
  4. When the host closes the round, the reveal shows the group's pick for each prompt, who matched it, and any Drops you earned.

Rules and Limits

  • You play each round once, and your pick locks in when you submit.
  • You earn by matching the group's most-popular choice for each prompt. If a prompt ends in a tie, the earliest option in the list is treated as the group's pick.
  • Rounds are open only while the host keeps them open.

Tips

  • Think about the team, not yourself. The question isn't who you'd pick — it's who everyone else will.
  • Go with the obvious answer. Consensus games reward the popular read, not the clever one.
  • Watch the reveal. Seeing who the team collectively nominated is usually the funniest part.
