What You See on Your Profile

When you open My Profile, the top of the screen shows:

• Your avatar (profile photo) with a gradient ring
• Your username (prefixed with @)
• Your full name
• An edit button (pencil icon) to jump directly to profile editing

Below the header, a segment bar lets you switch between two views:

Both lists load more content automatically as you scroll to the bottom.

Editing Your Profile

Tap the pencil icon on your profile card, or go to Settings > My Account, then tap Edit Profile. From that screen you can update:

1. Profile picture — tap your avatar or the "Edit profile picture" link to open a picker. Choose Take Photo (camera) or Choose from Gallery.
2. Username — tap the edit icon next to your username. The app checks availability in real time as you type.
3. Password — tap the edit icon next to the password field and enter your old password followed by the new one twice.
4. Phone number — tap the edit icon, enter your new number, and verify it with a one-time code sent to that number.
5. Payment detail (PayPal ID) — tap the edit icon and enter your PayPal email address so you can receive reward payouts.
6. Location — tap the edit icon and enter your country and city.

How to Change Your Profile Photo

1. Open My Profile.
2. Tap the pencil icon on your profile card to open Edit Profile.
3. Tap your avatar or the "Edit profile picture" text.
4. Choose Take Photo or Choose from Gallery.
5. The image uploads immediately and your profile refreshes.

How to Change Your Password

1. Open Edit Profile.
2. Tap the edit icon next to Password.
3. Enter your current password.
4. Enter your new password.
5. Re-enter the new password to confirm.
6. Tap Save. You will be redirected to the login screen to sign in with your new password.

How to Update Your Location

1. Open Edit Profile.
2. Tap the edit icon next to Location.
3. Enter your Country and City.
4. Tap Save.

Viewing Another User's Profile

Tap any username or avatar throughout the app to open that person's profile. From there you can follow or unfollow them, send a gift, or start a direct message.

Date of Birth

The Date of Birth field is optional and now opens a date picker on tap, on every platform. Leaving it blank no longer blocks you from saving the rest of your profile — fill it in if you'd like Give River to surface your birthday on the team's Awards & Milestones, or skip it entirely.

Privacy Note

Your posts tab on your own profile follows your individual post visibility settings (public or private). See the Privacy Settings article for details on controlling who can see your recognition posts.
