Post Visibility

When you create a post, the audience picker offers three destinations:

The settings screen containing privacy, visibility and blocked-user controls.
Visibility Who can see it
Team River Appears on the main recognition feed for all team members. If your organization uses locations or departments, you can optionally narrow a Team River post to specific ones.
Select members Shared only with the teammates you pick (they receive it directly).
Private Visible only to you in your Journal.

Changing Visibility on an Existing Post

  1. Open your Journal (from My River or Settings > My Journal).
  2. Find the post you want to change.
  3. Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the post card.
  4. Tap Make Private (if the post is currently public) or Make Public (if it is currently private).

Setting Visibility When Creating a Post

When creating a new recognition post, you can choose whether it posts publicly to the feed or is saved privately to your journal only. Refer to the New Post help article for details on the posting flow.
