Admin: Run Catalog — Choose Which River Runs Your Team Sees

Opening the Run catalog

1. Go to Engage in the admin sidebar.
2. Open the River Runs tab.
3. Click Run catalog ("Choose which runs your team sees"), next to Create River Run.

The catalog opens in a large pop-up on desktop and full screen on phones.

Choose a mode

At the top of the catalog, pick how runs behave when you haven't set anything for them:

The header shows a live count — for example, 30 of 36 runs visible to your team — that updates as you make changes, before you save.

Show, Hide or Inherit

Every run, category, creator, tag and set has the same three-way switch:

• Show — make it visible.
• Hide — keep it out of the catalog.
• Inherit — no setting of its own; it follows the broader settings and the mode.

The tabs

Runs

A table of every run with its thumbnail, title, source (Give River or your team), creator, categories and tags. The Visibility column shows whether each run is currently visible and why — for example, "Hidden by category: Finance" or "Shown by set: Onboarding".

• Search by title, creator, category or tag.
• Filter by Visible / Hidden, Give River library, your team's runs, runs with their own setting ("Set on run"), or a category.
• Sort by run, source, creator or visibility (click a column header on desktop, or use the sort menu on phones).
• Bulk edit: tick several runs (or Select all shown) and choose Show, Hide or Inherit for all of them at once.

Categories, Creators and Tags

Show or hide every run in a category, by a creator, or with a tag at once. Each row shows how many of its runs are visible (for example, "5 of 7 runs visible"). Reset to inherit clears all switches on that tab.

Tags come from each run's keywords, so a run with the keywords "wellness, focus" appears under both tags.

Sets

Sets are named groups of runs — like "Onboarding" or "Leadership" — that you can show or hide together.

• Click New set, give it a name, and pick runs from the searchable list.
• Use the pencil to rename a set or change its runs, and the bin to delete it.
• A set on Inherit just groups runs without changing their visibility.

Limits: up to 50 sets, 500 runs per set, and set names up to 120 characters.

Which setting wins?

When settings disagree, the most specific one wins:

1. The run's own switch
2. A set the run belongs to
3. One of the run's tags
4. The run's creator
5. One of the run's categories
6. The mode's default (visible for "All runs, except ones I hide", hidden for "Only runs I choose")

Within the same level, Show beats Hide. For example, a run in two categories — one shown and one hidden — stays visible.

Saving

Changes preview instantly but only apply when you click Save changes. Revert undoes everything since your last save, and closing the catalog with unsaved changes asks before discarding them.

Members keep what they started

Hiding a run only affects discovery. Members who are already enrolled in a run keep it and can finish it, whatever the catalog says.
