Admin Home and Engage Page

The Dashboard is the screen admins land on when they switch into Admin view. It surfaces the most important things to act on right now — who your River Guide is, what's happening this season, and the action items that need your attention — and sits alongside the other admin sections (Engage, Insights, Our Team, Rewards, Settings, and Help Center). For how the admin sections and their sub-sections are organized, see Admin Navigation.

Dashboard sub-sections

The Dashboard is split into three sub-sections, reachable from the nested side navigation or the sticky tabs at the top:

Sub-section What's there
Overview The at-a-glance admin home (described below)
Action Items The live list of things needing an admin's attention
Audit Log A record of admin actions — see Admin Audit Log

Overview — the layout

The Overview sub-section is built top-to-bottom out of these blocks:

  1. Quick Access — five compact cards that route directly into the other admin sections (Engage, Insights, Rewards, Our Team, Settings). The fastest way to deep-link into any area.
  2. Header + River Guide — your team name, the active season's title, and (when set) the number of days remaining. To the right sits an inline River Guide card: the team member who is your dedicated point of contact at Give River (resolved automatically by club role; first match wins).
  3. At a Glance — a single high-signal stat (Active Member Count) with a View Insights → link into the full analytics.
  4. Three CTA panels — Current Season, Most Recent Survey, and Most Recent Event, each with a one-tap CTA back into its full flow. Empty states show "Create" CTAs instead, so a freshly set-up team can take the first action from the home screen.

Action Items

The Action Items sub-section is the recommended starting point each day. Each row is something that:

  • needs a decision (e.g., approve a pending member),
  • is overdue (e.g., a season past its end date), or
  • is one click away from going live (e.g., a draft announcement ready to publish).

Use the filter chips at the top to narrow by item type (the chip label shows the count). The Clear filters button resets to all items. Each row has up to two actions: a primary (e.g., Review, Publish) and a secondary (e.g., Snooze, Dismiss). When everything is handled, you'll see a friendly empty state — that's the goal.

The Engage Page

The Engage section is where you actually create and manage every type of engagement content. It opens on an Overview sub-section and is organized into these sub-sections (tabs):

Sub-section Purpose
Overview A landing with Quick Actions, a snapshot of what's currently active (season, live surveys), and a card per Engage feature
Seasons Create and manage recognition seasons with drop reward pools
Surveys Build and send surveys to gather team feedback
Polls Create quick polls for team input
Events Schedule and manage team events
Announcements Post announcements visible to all team members
River Runs Create and manage learning/development programs
Chat Groups Manage admin-created chat groups
Tags Create and manage hashtags (core values) for use in drops

Engage navigation

  • Selecting a sub-section shifts the screen to that page and updates the URL (e.g., /engage?tab=seasons) so it can be bookmarked and shared.
  • Each sub-section loads its own data independently. Empty ones show a Create CTA.
  • The Overview tab's Quick Actions launch common create flows (send recognition, create a poll or survey, share an announcement, and more) in one click.
  • Several admin flows support Preview Mode — see exactly what members will see before publishing announcements, polls, events, or surveys.
  • Modals prompt for confirmation if you try to close them with unsaved edits.

Where things moved

  • Audit Log — now a Dashboard sub-section (Dashboard → Audit Log), no longer a separate destination.
  • Billing — the subscription/Stripe portal is now a Settings sub-section (Settings → Billing); see Admin Billing.
  • Help Center — now its own admin section, browsable by category.
  • Pending Approvals and Users History — under Our Team → Members (see Admin Members Management).

Getting Help

Many admin sections show a small help video play icon that opens a contextual walk-through for that area. You can also open the Help Center section from the admin navigation, or browse it from the Profile menu → Help Center.
