Accessing Team Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings in the main sidebar.
  2. The default tab is Team Details.

Team Details Fields

Field Description
Team Name The display name of your organization on the platform
Team Logo / Cover Image Upload an image to brand your Give River workspace
Invite Link A shareable link that lets new members join the team directly
Invite Link Toggle Enable or disable the public invite link
Charity / Cause Link your team to a charitable cause; members can donate drops

Updating Your Team Name

  1. Click the Team Name field.
  2. Type the new name.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Uploading a Team Logo or Cover Image

  1. Click the image upload area (logo or cover photo).
  2. Select an image file from your device.
  3. Crop or adjust if prompted.
  4. The image saves automatically after upload.

The invite link lets members join the team without a direct email invitation.

  1. Toggle Invite Link ON to activate the link.
  2. Copy the link using the copy icon and share it with prospective members.
  3. To deactivate the link (preventing new joins via that URL), toggle it OFF.

Note: Toggling the link OFF does not remove members who already joined using it.

Choosing a Charity / Cause

  1. Tap or click the charity selector.
  2. Browse or search the list of available charities.
  3. Select your organization's preferred cause.
  4. Members will see this cause and can allocate a portion of their earned drops to it.

Creating Additional Teams / Sub-Teams

If your plan supports multiple teams, you can create additional teams from the team switcher. Contact Give River support if you need to add a sub-team or business unit to your account.

Club Settings

Some advanced settings (visible under the Club Settings page accessible from certain admin paths) include:

  • Privacy type (public or invite-only)
  • Member approval requirements

These settings control whether joining the team requires admin approval or is open to anyone with the invite link.
