AI Season Creation Suggestions
When creating a season in Give River, the platform provides AI-powered insights on your season analytics once the season is underway. During the season creation wizard, the system also offers structured goal-selection guidance and smart duration defaults to help admins configure seasons that align with their team objectives.
Creating a Season
- Navigate to Engage in the main sidebar.
- Click the Seasons tab.
- Click Create Season to open the season creation wizard.
The wizard guides you through a series of steps. The number of steps depends on season type (Individual: 7 steps; Team-based: 8 steps).

Season Goal Selection
Step 2 presents four goal cards. Selecting a goal helps frame the season's intent for members:

Click a goal card to select it. The card highlights with a checkmark when selected. The chosen goal influences how the season is labeled and communicated to members.
Smart Duration Presets
On the Season Details step, duration presets help admins quickly set start and end dates:

| Custom | Manually set both start and end dates |
Selecting a preset automatically fills in the end date once you have chosen a start date. If you change the start date, the end date recalculates automatically based on the selected preset.
AI Insights on Season Analytics
Once a season is running and members are participating, AI-generated insights appear on the Season Analytics detail page:
- Go to Insights > Season tab.
- Click a season to open its detail analytics.
- An AI Insights card appears at the top of the analytics section, summarizing participation trends, top performers, and distribution patterns in plain language.
The AI card is powered by the seasonAnalytics context and analyzes drop distribution, participation rates, and leaderboard movement for that season.
Editing an Existing Season
- From Engage > Seasons, click the edit icon on any season.
- The same wizard opens pre-populated with existing values.
- Navigate through the steps to update any settings.
- Save changes on the final step.
Note: Some fields (such as Season Type) may be locked once the season has started and members have participated.
Reward Distribution
On the Rewards step, specify how many drops each ranked position receives:
- Position 1 (1st place): default 50 drops
- Position 2 (2nd place): default 30 drops
- Position 3 (3rd place): default 20 drops
The total pot is the sum of all position rewards and is displayed automatically as you adjust values.
Optionally enable a Badge Reward to award a digital badge (with a custom title and image) to the season winner.
