River Runs: First-Use Consent

The first time you navigate to the River Runs section, Give River shows a one-time "Kind reminder!" dialog before you begin. This screen explains what River Runs are and sets your expectations before you dive in.

What the Dialog Says

The consent dialog appears automatically on your first visit to the filtered River Runs screen. It explains:

  • What River Runs are (structured learning journeys with lessons, drops to earn, and completion milestones)
  • How your progress is tracked
  • That completing lessons earns you drops and contributes to your team's recognition culture

What You Need to Do

  1. Read the reminder message.
  2. Tap OK (or the confirm button) to proceed to the River Runs library.

The dialog appears only once. After you confirm, it won't show again on future visits.

If You Want to Review This Information Later

Since the dialog only appears once, you can find equivalent information in:

  • The River Run Overview article in this Help Center
  • The description shown on each individual River Run's detail page (which lists the instructor, lesson count, and drops to earn before you enroll)

What Happens After You Confirm

After dismissing the consent dialog, you'll see the full River Runs library. From there you can:

  • Browse all available runs
  • Filter by category or completion status
  • Search by name
  • Tap a run to see its full description and lesson playlist
  • Tap Join this Run to enroll

See River Run Overview for a full guide to using River Runs.
