River Run Streak Tracking
A streak measures how consistently you are engaging with River Runs. Each day you complete at least one Stream, your streak count increases by one. The streak resets if you go a day without completing any Stream.
What Is a Streak?
A streak measures how consistently you are engaging with River Runs. Each day you complete at least one Stream, your streak count increases by one. The streak resets if you go a day without completing any Stream.
Streaks are displayed in the Learning Analytics panel on the River Runs home screen.
Where to See Your Streak
- Open the River Runs section.
- The blue Progress Overview banner in the middle of the screen shows your current streak at a glance.
- On tablet and web, your streak count (flame icon) and days until reset (timer icon) appear directly in the banner header.
- Tap the expand arrow on the banner to see the full analytics view, which includes your streak alongside other learning metrics.
Streak Data Explained
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Current Streak | Number of consecutive days you have completed at least one Stream |
| Days Until Reset | How many days remain before your streak resets if you do not complete a Stream |
| Last Stream Date | The date of the most recent Stream you completed |
| Status Summary | A short description of your current streak status |
| Motivation Prompt | An encouraging message based on your streak activity |
How the Streak Works
- Completing any Stream on a given day counts toward maintaining your streak. The specific run or Stream does not matter.
- The streak is tracked at the individual user level — your teammates' activity does not affect yours.
- The days until reset counter tells you how long you have before missing a day breaks your streak. If this counter reaches zero without a completion, your streak returns to zero.
- Your streak resumes from 1 the next day you complete a Stream after a reset.
Tips for Maintaining Your Streak
- Use the Continue Learning section on the River Runs home screen to quickly jump back into an in-progress Stream.
- Set a reminder by opening any enrolled Stream and tapping the alarm icon in the action bar. You can set a reminder for 4 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, or a custom time.
- Even completing a short text or audio Stream counts — you do not need to finish an entire River Run in one day.
Drops and Streak Relationship
Completing Streams earns you Drops. The analytics panel also shows how many Drops you have earned in the current period versus your maximum earnable Drops for that period. Maintaining a streak is one of the most reliable ways to accumulate Drops consistently over time.
