Core Values Hashtag Tagging
Core values tags let you connect recognition posts to the specific values your organization cares about. Tags appear as #hashtags inside post text and are also available as a feed filter so anyone can browse posts by value.
What are core values tags?
Tags are labels defined by your team administrator and associated with your club (team). They appear as chip buttons in the post composer, and when selected they are inserted as #tagname into your post text. Tags are different from free-form hashtags — they come from a curated list your admin maintains.
Adding a tag when writing a post
- Open the Create Post composer.
- Tap the tag button (tag icon, labelled "tag") in the inline action bar beneath the text field.
- A popup appears showing all tags defined for your team, displayed as colored chips.
- Tap the tag you want to add. It is inserted into your post as
#tagnameat the current cursor position. - The popup closes automatically.
- Repeat to add more than one tag to the same post.
Browsing the feed by tag
You can filter the entire home feed to show only posts that contain a specific tag.
Via the filter panel:
- Tap the Filter button at the top right of the feed.
- Under the Filter by tag section, tap the tag chip you want to filter by. Each chip shows the tag's emoji and
#name, tinted with the tag's color. - Tap Apply Filters. The feed reloads showing only posts with that tag.
- The filter button badge shows a count of active filters.
- To clear the tag filter, open the filter panel again and tap Clear All, or tap the selected tag chip to deselect it.
Only one tag can be active at a time — tapping a second tag replaces the first.
Via a hashtag in a post:
Tapping any #hashtag text inside a post opens a dedicated post listing for that tag, showing all posts that include it.
Featured tags rise to the top
If your admin marks a tag as Featured, any post using it is pinned to the top of the feed and its background is tinted with the tag's color — an easy way to spotlight the values your team is rallying around right now.
The tag list
The Filter by tag section lists all the tags your admin has set up for your team. Adding, renaming, or removing tags in the admin dashboard updates this list right away.
Tag management (admins)

Administrators can create, rename, and delete tags for the team from the admin dashboard. Changes take effect immediately — new tags appear in the composer picker and filter panel, and deleted tags are removed.
| Action | Who can do it |
|---|---|
| Create a tag | Admin only |
| Rename a tag | Admin only |
| Delete a tag | Admin only |
| Add a tag to a post | Any team member |
| Filter feed by tag | Any team member |
Tips
- There is no limit to how many tags you can add to a single post.
- Tags are case-insensitive in the feed filter but display with a capitalised first letter in the picker.
- If your team has not set up any tags yet, the tag popup will show "No tags available." Ask your administrator to add some.
