Where Your Team's Goals Live

Open My River → My Goals. Because you manage people, the screen gains two extra views alongside your own goals:

• Team Goals — every goal your direct reports have created (except ones marked "Only me"), each with its progress bar, pace chip, and drops earned so far.
• Approvals — everything waiting on your review, with a live count in the tab. Two kinds of items land here:
  • Goals — when your organization requires goal approval, a report's new goal (or an edit that changes its metric or dates) waits for you before becoming active.
  • Milestones — when a report finishes a milestone step and submits it, optionally with evidence (a note and/or a link).

Reports are matched to you through the manager assignment your admin maintains (Members → manager field). If a member has no manager assigned, their submissions go to the club admins instead — so nothing ever gets stuck.

Reviewing

Each pending card shows who submitted it, the goal it belongs to, any evidence, and the milestone's drop reward.

• Approve — one tap. For a milestone, the drop reward is credited to the member immediately and exactly once; for a goal, it becomes active and the member can start submitting milestones.
• Send back — you'll be prompted for a note explaining what to change. The member sees your note on the goal and can resubmit after addressing it.

Approving the final milestone of a goal (once its metric target is met) completes the goal — the member gets a celebration, and if they opted in, an automatic #goals post on the River Feed.

Staying on Top of It

• You get an in-app notification and an email the moment a report submits a goal or milestone for your review.
• A weekly email rounds up anything still waiting on your review (and nudges you about your own stale goals, if any).
• The pace chips in Team Goals — On track / At risk / Behind — are computed from progress against time elapsed, so a quick scan shows who might need support before a deadline slips.
• Use a goal's Comments section for lightweight coaching between reviews — the owner is notified of every comment.

What Approval Means for Drops

Milestone drop rewards are company-funded: approving one credits the member's balance without spending anything of yours. Rewards are proposed by the member when they create the goal, capped by the admin-configured per-milestone limit, and your approval is the quality gate — if a reward looks out of proportion to the work, send it back with a note.

Common Questions

• A report re-assigned to me — do I see their old pending items? Yes. Reviews follow the current manager assignment, so their pending goals and milestones move with them.
• Can I create goals for my reports? Not in this release — goals are member-authored. Point them at a template (admins can add organization-specific ones).
• What if I'm away? Club admins can review anything in your queue from Engage → Goals → Approvals.
